Speed of Sound in Rocks

Demonstrates the speed of sound travelling through three rocks of different densities. The visitor pulls back a spring loaded lever, which strikes a metal pad on the rock. The speed of sound through the rock is indicated on a digital display, showing time and speed (kph).
